After the Louvre we walked along the left bank of Seine to Notre Dame
then to St Germain area back by Metro to hotel a brief respite Out for dinner to Le Comptoir de Relais for dinner on recommendation of my foodie expert colleague MO'M Arrive at 6 pm to beat queue We were seated immediately Great food and wonderful ambience especially pigs trotter! Though disappointed with rack of lamb Starter of fois gras excellent as was creme brûlée cafe Americans on either side of us though on arrival had four French men quaffing bottles of vino on one side
Off to Cannes tomorrow am to see friends Diverging from route which should go Dijon and Milan will join it again at Verona ....
